Calgary based vocalist and composer Ellen Doty brought her nation-wide tour to support her new album, Come Fall, to the Rex on March 23rd. She appeared along with Eric Haynes on keyboards and vocals, and Efa Eteroma on drums. Haynes added vocal accompanied on two of tracks off the new album. “My Favourite Sweater” was a hit with the audience.

Drummer Etoroma provided great rhythm to the jazzy/pop mix of songs that Doty composed for the new album.

She mainly performed songs off Come Fall, but included a song from a previous album and ended the evening with a beautiful version of a Carol King hit. If the applause from the audience and the line-up to buy her new album was any indication, the local audience really enjoyed themselves.
